Boyu Wang is an associate of Henkel & Cohen. She concentrates her practice in business and commercial litigation, mediation, and arbitration in state courts and federal courts around the U.S., and general business and contract matters.
Boyu worked as a law clerk for Judge Nancy H. Vaidik at the Court of Appeals of Indiana during the summer between her first and second years of law school. She worked as a summer associate with Dinsmore & Shohl LLP, in the Louisville office between her second and third years of law school. After graduation, she joined Dinsmore & Shohl LLP and worked as an associate in the commercial litigation practice group, where she worked on a variety of civil litigation matters including claims under the FDCPA and FCRA, mortgage foreclosure, financial institution disputed transactions, labor and employment law matters, business torts, and contract disputes.
Boyu obtained her law degree cum laude from Indiana University Maurer School of Law (2018) in Bloomington, Indiana. She was a Managing Editor of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies and published her student note After the European Commission Ordered Apple to Pay Back Taxes to Ireland: Ireland’s Future in the New Global Tax Environment. Boyu worked during her last year of law school as an extern with Indiana University Vice President and General Counsel’s Office. She obtained her Master of Laws degree from Université de Montréal (2014) and her Bachelor of Arts degree from China University of Political Science and Law (2013), majoring in German.
Boyu is a proud owner of a Boston Terrier, and her personal interests include snowboarding, scuba diving, freediving, reading, traveling, and learning different languages.
