Elizabeth Ynigo Davies



Elizabeth Y. Davies is an associate with Henkel & Cohen. During her career, she has acquired a wealth of experience practicing at large international firms as well as mid-sized and boutique firms. This diverse background has allowed her to represent individuals, businesses, and financial institutions in a wide range of litigation, corporate, and transactional matters. Not only is Elizabeth a zealous advocate in court, but she also is an advisor and counselor who finds and implements pragmatic solutions to business disputes.

Elizabeth was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She received her JD from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2001. Prior to that, she graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University, where she received her Bachelor of Science.

Elizabeth is the proud mother of a young son and daughter with whom she enjoys spending time. During her personal time, she also enjoys traveling, salsa dancing, gastronomy, live music, and reading.

With over 15 years of litigation experience, Elizabeth has represented clients in all types of complex commercial litigation in Florida state and federal courts, as well as in mediation and arbitration. As a result, Elizabeth is very familiar with the process of commercial disputes in federal, state, and local jurisdictions and the varying business and corporate laws.
